In accordance with REES By-laws, please be advised of the annual general meeting of the Reaching E-Quality Employment Services (REES).
All REES partners, members and participants are invited and encouraged to attend the annual general meeting. Your continued support of REES is greatly appreciated and we look forward to another successful year. The REES Board and staff look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Furthermore it is proposed that the General By-Laws of the Corporation be repealed and replaced by new by-laws in the form accompanying this Notice. The new by-laws amend the structure of the membership such that the membership is to be reclassified as “the Directors from time to time of the Corporation”. The proposed amendments are intended to result in administrative efficiencies that will allow the Corporation to carry on business in a more cost effective manner.

There will be an agenda item to consider, and if thought fit, to confirm, with or without amendment, the repeal of the General By-laws of Reaching E-Quality Employment Services Incorporated and the replacement thereof by the enactment of General By-laws No. 1/2017. Reaching E-Quality Employment Services Call for Board Nominations

Is this an opportunity for you?

Reaching E-Quality Employment Services (REES) is seeking approximately 4 individuals for Board nomination who possess the skills, experience and values needed for REES to continue to succeed.

Benefits of Serving as a Board of Director:

  • Gain experience in a new area: there are opportunities to gain volunteer experience and skills that are different to your workplace experience;
  • Develop leadership skills: being a volunteer leader will give you the opportunity to work with committees and gain leadership skills that will benefit your career;
  • Create business relationships with individuals you might not otherwise have an opportunity to meet or work with;
  • Meet new colleagues;
  • Have direct involvement in setting REES strategic direction.

Do you have any of the following qualifications?

  • Ability and eagerness to deal with values, vision and the long term
  • Capacity for big picture, future-oriented thinking
  • Ability to work as a disciplined, high-performance, trustworthy and ethical team
  • Have knowledge about the services to members and vision/goals of the association
  • Be able to actively participate in open and careful deliberation on all matters
  • Have a willingness to invest in others, inspiring confidence and enthusiasm
  • Have support from his/her employer and colleagues regarding the time commitment required for Board service

Successful Board members will govern REES to promote the organization to a successful outcome. We meet as a Board approximately 10 - 12 times per year generally in the late afternoon/early evening.
